The first event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 1, and will feature three local offices – DeKalb County State’s Attorney, DeKalb Circuit Clerk and DeKalb County Coroner. The candidates include Rich Amato (Republican) and Anna Wilhelmi (Democrat) for state’s attorney, Rukisha Crawford (Democrat) and Lori Grubbs (Republican) for circuit clerk, and Dennis J. The second virtual forum on Oct. 8 will feature candidates for the 70th and 90th districts in the Illinois General Assembly at 6 p.m. and candidates for DeKalb County Board at 7 p.m. Each county board candidate will be asked five questions with one minute to answer and have a two-minute closing.
